Scientific program
The school will cover a wide variety of topics related to multiband and multiorbital effects:
- multiband superconductivity
- phase competition/separation
- exciton condensates
- orbital ordering
- orbital currents
- orbital selective metal-insulator transitions
in various systems: pnictides, cobaltates, manganites, graphene, Mott insulators, and others.
The most advanced theoretical methods for the study of these issues will be introduced and discussed, along with a selection of different experimental approaches (such as scanning tunnelling microscopy and spectroscopy, photolectron spectroscopy, ultrafast spectroscopy, and more).
