Arrival/Departure

Sessions will start on the morning of Tuesday, August 2nd and end in the afternoon of Friday, August 12th. Participants are expected to arrive on Monday the 1st and leave Cargèse on Saturday, August 13th..

Transfer from Ajaccio Airport to Institute of Cargèse and conversely requires about 1h00 depending on traffic.

01/08/2011: 2 buses and a 8 seats taxi will be scheduled in the afternoon for the transfer of participants from Ajaccio Airport.

• The 1st bus is scheduled to pick-up participants arriving in Ajaccio by flight 14:35 (2:35 pm) the latest.
• 2nd bus is scheduled to pick-up participants arriving in Ajaccio by flight 17:55 (5:55 pm) the latest.
• A 8 seats taxi is scheduled to pick-up participants arriving in Ajaccio by flight 19:35 (7:35 pm) the latest.

• In case of missing flight connection, please call the cellular phone numbers we gave you in the instructions and a taxi from the Institute will pick-you up at the airport and drive you to the Institute.

13/08/2011: On Saturday 13th morning bus departures will be scheduled for Ajaccio airport following your time departure. Early flight departure will be arranged by the Institute.

The easiest way to reach Cargèse is via Ajaccio. Other itineraries are possible but please be aware of paucity of public transportation in Corsica. Driving through Corsica is scenic but can take a long time.
